Need Fast GPU hours and Relax image grids without Midjourney’s $10 Basic or $30 Standard bill?
Midjourney is an image model you prompt on Discord or the web. You pay for GPU time, not a pile of tokens.
Official Basic is $10 a month with about 3.3 Fast hours. Standard is $30 with Relax images. That jump is why people search midjourney group buy.
This page shows what the generator is for. I cover official prices, what I would run on day one, and who should pay them instead.
When you finish, you will know if a cheaper shared month is enough to see a four-image grid. You will also know when you need Standard on your name.
What Fast hours and /imagine grids are actually for
Midjourney sits on a house look, not a custom trainer. I would type a public prompt, set aspect ratio and stylize, then pick a cell from the four-image grid. Vary, zoom, and region-edit live on Discord and midjourney.com. Fast jobs jump the queue. Relax waits.
It is not Leonardo. Leonardo trains a character on your photos. It is not Canva. Canva is a layout desk with a generator attached. It is not Adobe Stock. You make stills here. You do not license photographer files. Image-to-video exists. Unlimited Relax video is a Pro and Mega thing. I would not assume video on a cheap seat.
Skip a shared seat if you needed Stealth. Skip it if a company over $1 million in yearly revenue needs their commercial terms. Concept artists, moodboard people, and marketers who want this cinematic default are the fit.
- Run /imagine with aspect ratio and stylize on a public concept, then pick a grid cell
- Switch Fast versus Relax and watch remaining GPU minutes
- Upscale and region-edit one still in Discord or the web app
Midjourney group buy vs paying official Standard
A shared login is a shared Fast-hour pile. Official Midjourney is Basic, Standard, Pro, or Mega on an account you control. You pay for GPU time and a named invoice. Annual billing is 20% off if you prepay the year.
Basic is $10 a month, or $8 a month yearly ($96 a year). Public Basic is about 3.3 Fast hours. There is no Relax fallback. Standard is $30 a month, or $24 yearly. Standard is 15 Fast hours plus unlimited Relax images. Pro is $60 a month, or $48 yearly, with 30 Fast hours, Stealth, and Relax video. Mega is $120 a month, or $96 yearly, with 60 Fast hours. Extra Fast time is $4 an hour on their site. There is no free plan.
A group-buy fee undercuts $10. You do not get their invoice. You should not expect Relax if the shared seat is Basic. You should not expect Stealth on Standard.
If you only needed to see one /imagine grid, the cheaper seat can make sense. If Relax and Stealth must sit on your name, pay them.
What I check before I trust a Fast job
I would not prompt a client’s unreleased pack shot on day one. I would use a public object I already publish.
Then I would run one /imagine job and wait for a four-image grid. That is the Midjourney test. If nothing renders, the seat is too thin.
Then I would try Relax. If Relax is missing, the seat is Basic-shaped. Fast 3.3 hours vanish when other people generate. I would glance at remaining GPU minutes. I would upscale one cell I actually like. I would not dump a 40-prompt moodboard into a shared Fast pool.
If the grid never appears, I would stop the same day.
How access on Noxtools works
You pay Noxtools, then open Midjourney from their panel. There is no free trial. Midjourney.com still has no free plan. If a public /imagine prompt never returns a four-image grid, you have 48 hours to ask for a refund.
I would not prepay a year. I would keep client brand prompts off that Discord.
Pros
- House cinematic look you do not get from Leonardo’s trainer
- Unlimited Relax images start on official Standard at $30
- Vary, zoom, and region-edit sit on Discord and the web app
- Group buy undercuts Basic at $10, or Standard at $30
Cons
- Basic has no Relax; shared Fast hours empty fast
- Stealth is Pro and Mega, not a cheap public job
- No custom-model trainer, and no $1M commercial contract
Is a cheaper shared month worth it?
Yes for a cheap look at one /imagine grid and Fast versus Relax. No if you wanted Leonardo’s trainer, Stealth for a client, or Adobe Stock files.
Stay off Midjourney if you only needed a free toy. There is not one. Buy official Standard if Relax images are now a daily habit. Treat a shared month as a GPU test, not your studio’s private board.

Frequently asked questions
Is a shared Midjourney login the same as official Standard?
No. Official Basic is $10 a month with about 3.3 Fast hours. Standard is $30 with unlimited Relax images. Noxtools is a shared login. You do not get their invoice.
Can I prompt a client’s unreleased product on a shared Midjourney seat?
I would not. Jobs sit on that Discord or web account. A pooled seat is a poor place for a brand launch still.
Does Noxtools offer a Midjourney free trial?
No. Midjourney.com has no free plan. Noxtools is paid. If a public /imagine job never returns a grid, the 48-hour refund is the window I use.
Does Basic include unlimited Relax images?
No. Unlimited Relax images start on Standard at $30. Basic is a small Fast pool. I would check Relax on day one.
Is Midjourney the same as Leonardo AI?
No. Midjourney is one house style, billed in GPU hours, on Discord or the web. Leonardo is a browser studio with custom model training.
